According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "There is provided a user equipment comprising: means for obtaining configuration information from a network device, the configuration information relating to monitoring of signals transmitted by at least one ambient internet of things device and relating to providing of reporting information relating to one or more of the at least one ambient internet of things device to a reader device; means for monitoring at least one signal transmitted by the at least one ambient internet of things device, based on the configuration information; means for determining reporting information which is to be reported in a report to the reader device, based on the configuration information and based on information obtained from one or more monitored signals from one or more ambient internet of things devices, wherein the means for determining the reporting information is for performing one or more of: collecting obtained information from one or more monitored signals from one or more ambient internet of things devices to provide as reporting information; selecting which of obtained information from one or more monitored signals from one or more ambient internet of things devices is to be provided as reporting information; combining obtained information from two or more monitored signals from one or more ambient internet of things devices to provide as reporting information; and determining from obtained information from one or more monitored signals from one or more ambient internet of things devices that one or more conditions are satisfied and providing an indication in the reporting information that the one or more or more conditions are satisfied; and means for sending the determined reporting information in the report to the reader device."
