MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441010943 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on Feb. 16, 2024, for 'method, apparatus and computer program.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "There is provided a method performed by a radio access network, RAN, node, wherein the method comprises storing, in a data record associated with the RAN node, at least one neighbour group identity, wherein each neighbour group identity of the at least one neighbour group identity comprises a respective group identity that is supported in a respective cell that neighbours at least one cell of a tracking area, TA, supported by the RAN node. The method further comprises providing, to a core network node, information related to the data record, wherein the information comprises the at least one neighbour group identity."
