MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006949 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 1, 2024, for 'metallic post installation and removing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An metallic post installation and removing device, comprises of a platform 1 configured with multiple rods 2 that provides support to platform 1 on a ground surface, an imaging unit 6 for capturing and processing images of surroundings of platform 1, a display panel 7 for displaying evaluated mapping and also enabling user to specify portion of surface on which user desires to install post, a robotic link 8 for positioning clamping unit 9 inside chamber 4, a pneumatically operated hammering unit 10 for providing a reciprocatory motion to clamping unit 9, a microphone 11 for enabling user to input voice commands regarding a post removing mode of operation that user desires to perform and a motorized toggle clamping arrangement 14 for providing an upward and downward movement to clamp 13 that aids in removal of post from ground surface."
