MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511116788 A) filed by Novealthy Innovations Private Limited, Bikaner, Rajasthan, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'medication dispenser system with modular design and prescription synchronization via mobile application.'
Inventor(s) include Sumit Kalra; Preeti Mutreja; Richard David; and Sachin Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses a stackable modular medication dispensing device comprising a series of detachable dispensing units, each configured to operate autonomously and/or in coordination with adjacent units. These modules can be vertically stacked to create personalized dispensing towers per family member or per dosing interval (e.g., morning, afternoon, evening). Each module is equipped with a motorized pill release mechanism, compartmentalized storage, and electronic control interfacing via a centralized or distributed microcontroller system. Synchronization with a mobile application ensures timely alerts, dispensing control, and adherence monitoring. In addition to solid medication dispensing, the system includes a liquid medication dispensing module comprising multiple electronically controlled liquid reservoirs. Each reservoir is connected to a precision pump that dispenses liquid doses into individual cups based on a scheduled command from the microcontroller. This integrated system supports both solid and liquid medication management, enhancing dosing flexibility, user adherence, and caregiver oversight."
