MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012436 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'medicated syrup administration assistive device for child.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A medicated syrup administration assistive device for child, comprising aa cylindrical hollow body 1 installed with a first cylindrical chamber 2 and a second cylindrical chamber 3 storing liquid sweetener and medicated syrup respectively, a touch enabled screen 4 installed on the body 1 enabling user's input commands, a speaker 5 mounted on the body 1 notifying the user, a camera 6 mounted on the body 1 detecting presence of body 1 over a child's mouth, a motorized iris pore 7 configured with the first chamber 2 and an electronic nozzle 8 configured with the second chamber 3 dispensing sweetener and syrup respectively, a Peltier unit 9 configured with each of the chambers 2, 3 maintaining temperatures of sweetener and syrup and a holographic projection unit 10 mounted on the body 1 for diverting attention of the child."
