MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024664 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'medicated steam bath facilitating device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Febin Joy; and Dr. Princy Purwar.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A medicated steam bath facilitating device, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, touch interactive display panel 2configured with the body 1 for providing input regarding medications steam, cavity 3 is crafted on top portion of the body 1 for positioning head of the user, a water reservoir 4 arranged with the body 1 and integrated with a heating unit 5 to heat water and generate steam, plurality of boxes 6 are arranged in the reservoir 4 each integrated with an electronically controlled nozzle 7 to dispense the medicated solution stored in the boxes 6 and solubilize the solution with steam, plurality of electronically controlled spouts 8 installed inside the body 1 to dispense pressurized medicated steam inside the body 1, a sensing module installed on the layer for monitoring vital health parameters of the user while experiencing the steam bath."
