MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517058102 A) filed by Toray Industries, Inc., Tokyo, on June 17, for 'medicament for treatment and/or prevention of cancer.'
Inventor(s) include Okano Fumiyoshi; and Tachibana Kazushi.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a medicament for the treatment and/or prevention of cancer. A medicament for the treatment and/or prevention of cancer comprises: an antibody having immunological reactivity with the CAPRIN-1 protein or a fragment thereof; and an anthracycline-based drug and a platinum agent, or an anthracycline-based drug, a platinum agent, and an angiogenesis inhibitor, all together or in separate combinations (excluding pyrimidine-based drugs)."
