MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105002 A) filed by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram, Haryana, on Oct. 30, 2025, for 'medical airway management device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Priyanka Gupta; Dr. Naveen Gupta; and Dr. Deepanshi Saxena.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A medical airway management device, comprising an L-shaped body 101 having a horizontal platform 101a for patient placement and a vertical platform 101b, an inspection unit 104 is configured to perform real-time airway examination and visualization, a guiding unit 105 is configured to precisely maneuver the inspection unit 104 toward the patient's oral cavity during intubation, an artificial intelligence-based imaging module 106 monitors patient head and neck alignment through real-time imaging and predictive modelling, an alert module 107 is paired with the body 101 to generate alerts, a head and neck support module 108 dynamically stabilizes and adjusts the patient's head and neck posture, an analysis module connected to the imaging module 106 and EMR database evaluates facial landmarks, jaw structure, and neck contour to estimate intubation complexity and suggest procedural adaptations, a display panel 103 provides live airway visuals, posture guidance, sensor data, and step-by-step instructions."
