MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547096505 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on Oct. 7, for 'mechanism for small data transmission.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Example embodiments of the present disclosure related to configuration small data transmission (SDT). A terminal device transmits, to a network device, information indicating a set of radio bearers applicable to be configured in at least one small data transmission configuration. In this way, the network device is able to properly configure the radio bear (s) for the SDT."
