MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022867 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 23, 2024, for 'meatballs making assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A meatballs making assistive device, comprising a rectangular platform 1 crafted with a handle 2 that is gripped by a user to position platform 1 over an auxiliary container stored with frying oil, plurality of semi-cylindrical members 3 accommodates meatball mixture, a touch interactive display panel 4 enables user to provide input regarding a length of meatballs, an imaging unit 5 determines position of meatball mixture, a laser sensor determines length of members 3, a laser projector 6 projects laser light over each of members 3, an inverted L-shaped rod 7 positions a horizontal bar 8 over projected points of each of members 3, a motorized sliding unit translates plurality of cutting plates in view of positioning plates over each of members 3, and a motorized ball or socket joint orients bar 8 over members 3 to cut meatballs from mixture via plates."
