MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517049160 A) filed by Taisei Kako Co. Ltd., Osaka, Japan, on May 21, for 'measuring device and measuring container.'

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A weighing device that is configured to weigh a plurality of solid articles and is configured to be attachable to a container body provided with an accommodation section for accommodating the plurality of solid articles and a container opening section through which the plurality of solid articles are inserted and retrieved from the accommodation section, the weighing device comprising: a guide part that extends along the opening direction of the container opening section in the container body, the guide part having a sorting space in which the plurality of solid articles discharged from the accommodation section via the container opening section can be sorted in the extension direction of the guide part; and a partition part that partitions the sorting space at a partition position partway along in the extension direction, the partition part being configured so that the partition position can be changed in the extension direction."
