The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The math pen 200 is an interactive educational device designed for early math learning. It utilizes a push-button mechanism 201 to activate a cam 202 and rotating shaft assembly 206, which aligns and dispenses beads from an interchangeable bead's holder 207. The cylindrical cam 204 converts the vertical motion of the button press into rotational movement, guiding a slotted shaft 206 and bead dispensing shaft 208 that dispenses beads one at a time. The interchangeable beads holder 207 accommodates various bead types, such as spherical beads 405 for counting and cubical beads 404 for arithmetic operations. The dispensing bottom cap 209 ensures accurate release of beads while preventing spillage. This thoughtful design aids in teaching basic math concepts while supporting fine motor skill development. The versatile mechanical features of the math pen 200 make it an effective and enjoyable tool for reinforcing fundamental math skills."
