MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511114338 A) filed by Lohum Materials Private Limited, New Delhi, on Nov. 19, 2025, for 'material handling system for controlled transfer of particulate materials.'

Inventor(s) include Panda, Satish Kumar; Srivastava, Sachchidanand; and Verma, Rajat.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A material handling system (100) for controlled handling and transfer of particulate materials from source container (106) to process units (116a, 116b). The system (100) includes a vacuum chamber (102) equipped with a bag filter assembly to filter particulate materials from air, a vacuum pump (104) coupled to the vacuum chamber (102) to generate negative pressure, and an inlet valve (108) to regulate material intake based on vacuum pressure or fill level. An outlet valve (110) facilitates discharge of filtered materials into a hopper (112), while a screw conveyor (114) transfers particulate materials from hopper (112) to process units (116a, 116b). A controller (118) controls operations of the system (100) based on sensor feedback, enabling automatic repetition of suction and discharge cycles until the particulate material transfer is complete. The system (100) provides compact, efficient, and contamination-free solution for automated particulate material transfer in industrial applications."
