The material handling device (100) includes a separation mechanism (2), a suction mechanism (3), and an intermediate transfer mechanism (4). The separation mechanism (2) includes a separation transfer assembly (21) and a lifting assembly (22). The separation transfer assembly (21) is configured to transfer a first material (200) along a first direction (X). The lifting assembly (22) includes a lifting driving member (221) and a lifting member (222). The lifting driving member (221) is configured to drive the lifting member (222) to move along a second direction (Z), so that the lifting member (222) separates a second material (300) on the first material (200) from the first material (200). The first direction (X) is perpendicular to the second direction (Z). The suction mechanism (3) includes a suction assembly (31). The suction assembly (31) and the separation transfer assembly (21) are arranged opposite to each other in the second direction (Z). The suction assembly (31) is configured to suction the second material (300) along the second direction (Z). The intermediate transfer mechanism (4) includes an intermediate transfer assembly (41). The intermediate transfer assembly (41) and the separation transfer assembly (21) are arranged along the first direction (X). The intermediate transfer assembly (41) is configured to transfer the first material (200) along the first direction (X). The material handling device (100) is convenient for picking up and placing a third material (400) between the first material (200) and the second material (300)."
