MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105057 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 30, 2025, for 'marble shifting assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Aarushi Kaushik.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A marble shifting assistive device comprises of, a platform 101, an imaging unit 102 to capture and process images in vicinity, a drawer arrangement 103 to extend in upward direction, a telescopically operated rod 104 to extend in accordance to detected thickness, a suction unit 105 to generate negative pressure in order to secure the marble in the platform 101, a Omni-directional wheels 106 to maneuver the platform 101 towards a user-specified location, a T-shaped handle 107 to allow the user to maneuver the platform 101 manually, and an inverted L-shaped bar 108 to extend in order to adhere a suction cup 109 to stabilize the platform 101, a laser sensor to detect presence of cracks on the marble and on detection of cracks, a speaker 110 is installed on the platform 101."
