MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441036970 A) filed by Juvva Phani Kumar, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, on May 10, 2024, for 'manufacturing of the helmet for the motor bike riders.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a helmet support system (100) for motorbike riders that reduces neck strain and improves comfort by transferring the weight of a helmet shell (102) onto the rider's shoulders through a retrofittable support structure (104). The support structure (104) is attachable and displacement and comprises at least one configuration selected from: a flexible pipe and/or rod frame resting on the shoulders, a semi-circular neck and shoulder band adapted to cling around the rider, and a pair of side handles with grippers. A vent (108) in the helmet shell (102) allows the airflow of and reduce heat buildup. Adjustable connectors (110) are provided to vary the height, tilt, or spacing of the helmet shell (102). A fastening means secures the support structure (104) to the rider's body."
