Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Managing Target Sound Playback' Filed by Apple Inc.

MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202515089697 A) filed by Apple Inc., Cupertino, U.S.A., on Sept. 19, for 'managing target sound playback.'

Inventor(s) include Casarini, Cecilia; Fisch, Ian M.; Mazur, Jakub; Lerner, Mitchell R.; Brazell Ruiz, Pablo David; Ryner, Jr. Stephen W.; and Chen, Tyrone T.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method for controlling target sound playback. A display screen of a control device is configured to display a target sound user setting for controlling target sound playback, wherein the target 5 sound user setting controls a stored target sound level parameter that is stored within memory of the control device. A target sound sequence is generated in accordance with the user setting. A speaker is driven with the target sound sequence. Other aspects are also described and claimed."
