MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202347042658 A) filed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on June 26, 2023, for 'management system and battery.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This management system (10) manages a battery (14) mounted on a device (16) in a detachable manner. The battery (14) has a battery side storage unit (80) for storing a unique device ID of the device (16) and a control circuit (56). While the control circuit (56) supplies the power of the battery (14) when determining that a use time authentication ID obtained from the device (16) and the device ID are consistent with each other, the control circuit (56) stops supplying the power of the battery (14) when determining that the use time authentication ID and the device ID are inconsistent with each other. The management system (10) is also provided with a management unit (40) for storing or deleting the device ID into or from the battery side storage unit (80) when obtaining a user ID."
