MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202347043411 A) filed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on June 28, 2023, for 'management system.'

Inventor(s) include Takasu Kojiro; Edamatsu Shigeki; Endo Hirotaka; and Kuramochi Yuka.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A management system (10) comprises a management server (28) that can communicate information with a battery station (22) that houses a battery (14) that is lent based on a usage agreement. The management server (28) acquires the lending date and time at which the battery (14) is lent from the battery station (22), and the return date and time at which the battery (14) is returned to the battery station (22) during the usage agreement period of an existing contract user (EU). When a prescribed period has elapsed from the lending date and time without the battery (14) being returned, or when a prescribed period has elapsed from the return date and time without the battery (14) being lent, the management server (28) determines that the battery (14) is in an idle state."
