MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517051277 A) filed by Makino J Co. Ltd., Kanagawa, Japan, on May 28, for 'machine tool.'

Inventor(s) include Yoshida, Genki; Sakata, Hisanori; and Ogura, Atsushi.

The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A machine tool (10) comprises: a feed shaft apparatus (16) that moves a workpiece and a tool relative to each other; an NC apparatus (12) for the feed shaft apparatus; and an input/output controller (42) which is interposed between a plurality of devices (26, 28, 30) that output signals and the NC apparatus to connect the devices to the NC apparatus. The input/output controller comprises an input unit (32) to which the devices are connected, and that acquires the signals from the devices as current information and converts the current information into stored information; and a storage unit (34) that is connected to the input unit, and that receives and stores the stored information from the input unit."
