MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012633 A) filed by Bennett University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'machine learning algorithms for robotic motion prediction.'
Inventor(s) include Prof. Ajith Abraham; and Prof. Arpit Bhardwaj.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a system for robotic motion prediction that enables the accurate anticipation and adjustment of a robot's movements based on real-time data. The system includes a sensor array that collects data concerning the environment and the robot's current state. A machine learning model, trained on a dataset of prior robot movements and outcomes, is employed to predict future robot movements using the collected real-time data. These predictions are then received by a control unit, which adjusts the robot's movements accordingly."
