MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414095757 A) filed by Nokia Solutions And Networks Oy, Espoo, Finland, on Dec. 4, 2024, for 'machine learning -based reduction of peak-to-average-power ratio of time-domain radio signals, and related devices, methods and computer programs.'
Inventor(s) include Gokceli, Selahattin.; Korpi, Dani Johannes; and Upadhya, Karthik.
The application for the patent was published on June 20, under issue no. 25/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Devices, methods and computer programs for machine learning (ML) -based reduction of peak-to-average-power ratio (PAPR) of time-domain radio signals are dis-closed. At least some example embodiments may allow reducing the PAPR of time-domain radio signals of high-frequency communications in an efficient way to achieve improvements in energy efficiency, while also minimiz-ing computational complexity of the PAPR reduction with the ML-based techniques."
