Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION Conventional dental operatory lights require manual adjustment, which may interrupt procedures and increase the risk of cross- contamination. The present work proposes three independent control systems as alternatives: a pedal-controlled system, a sensor-based touchless system, and a tooth number-based positioning system. The pedal-controlled system enables hands-free adjustment of the dental light through directional foot movements. The sensor-based system utilizes motion or proximity sensors to allow touchless control using hand gestures. The tooth number-based system employs a numeric input interface to automatically position the light according to pre-calibrated coordinates corresponding to specific teeth. Each system operates using a microcontroller and motorized mechanism to achieve precise, multi-axis movement of the dental light. These approaches improve ergonomics, enhance infection control, and ensure efficient and accurate illuminatio ring dental procedures.
