According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and a first distributed unit. The method comprises detecting a Lower-layer Triggered Mobility (LTM) execution failure of an LTM cell switch of a User Equipment (UE) (108) with a target cell hosted by a first distributed unit (1061); receiving measurement report of a plurality of LTM candidate cells belonging to a cell group associated with the failure, from the UE (108), from a centralised unit via a second distributed unit (1062), wherein the centralised unit is connected to the first distributed unit (1061) and the second distributed unit (1062); identifying a new target cell, wherein the new target cell is present in the plurality of LTM candidate cells belonging to a cell group associated with failure, for the LTM cell switch, based on the measurement report; and transmitting information of the new target cell to the UE (108), via the centralised unit (104) and the second distributed unit (1062), for performing the LTM cell switch."
