MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544019670 A) filed by Xiamen Hithium Energy Storage Technology Co. Ltd., Fujian, China, on March 5, for 'lower plastic component, end cover assembly, energy storage device, and electricity-consumption apparatus.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The disclosure discloses a lower plastic component, an end cover assembly, an energy storage device, and an electricity-consumption apparatus. The lower plastic component is used for the end cover assembly of the energy storage device. The lower plastic component includes a body and an adsorption portion. The body has a first surface and a second surface that face away from each other, and the first surface is disposed at one side of the body facing toward a top cover. The adsorption portion is disposed on the first surface and includes a plurality of first ribs and a plurality of second ribs. The plurality of first ribs arranged at intervals are parallel to each other, the plurality of second ribs arranged at intervals are parallel to each other, the plurality of first ribs and the plurality of second ribs are arranged in a crisscross manner, the plurality of first ribs and the plurality of second ribs cooperatively define a plurality of recesses, and the recesses are recessed in a direction from the first surface to the second surface. Due to the arrangement of the adsorption portion, the recesses achieve a suction-cup-like effect during demolding, increasing the adsorption force between the lower plastic component and the first mold. The pulling force of the second mold on the lower plastic component is insufficient to separate the lower plastic component from the first mold, thereby preventing damage to the lower plastic component and improving the product yield."
