According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The low voltage traction battery CCS DC charger (100) comprises of CCS vehicle inlet (106), DC_DC converter (102); CAN communication network (108), Type1/Type 2 signal interface (118), CCS PLCC communication (119); traction battery disconnection contactor (110), vehicle side charge port connector (112) and CCS compatible low voltage traction battery charge controller (104). The charger (100) is connected to the electric vehicle (124) by connector cable (114) and to the existing CCS fast charger (200) through its Type 1/Type 2 CCS charging gun (210) in the CCS vehicle inlet (106). The charger (100) is packaged as one unit and is carried with the vehicle (124) as an accessory, alternatively the charger (100(a)) is a modified charger with combined AC and DC charging and alternatively the charger (100) is packaged as one unit with DC EVSE such that the electric vehicle (124) with mating connector cable (114) can plug in and charge."
