MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617013092 A) filed by Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, on Feb. 6, for 'logical channel prioritization for synchronization.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. Some aspects relate generally to logical channel prioritization for synchronization. Some aspects more specifically relate to a user equipment (UE) performing logical channel prioritization based on synchronization information. In some aspects, the synchronization information may include a synchronization threshold between two or more logical channels. For example, the two or more logical channels may be associated with traffic for a multi-modal service or application. A network node may configure the two or more logical channels with respective synchronization thresholds based on the multi-modal service or application."

The patent application was internationally filed on Aug. 22, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/043416.
