MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019766 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'load carriage assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Anil Kumar; R. P. Agarwal; Jasvir Singh Rana; and Vinit Vishnoi.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A load carriage assistive device, comprising of a platform 1 fabricated with multiple flaps 2 to accommodate load, a pair of motorized wheels 4 to maneuver platform 1 over a ground surface, an artificial intelligence based camera 7 for detecting dimension of load to be positioned, a sweat sensor to detect sweat over user's hands, an air blower 16 to dry out sweat, a tribometer to detect friction in between user's hands and handle 6, a suction cup 8 for eliminating chances of any damage, a tactile sensor to determine hardness of surface, multiple telescopically operated pins 9 for ensuring a friction in between wheels 4 and surface, and a worm wheel arrangement 12 include a cylindrical worm 13 linked with a worm wheel 14 for eliminating chances of backward movement of platform 1."
