MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411003686 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 18, 2024, for 'livestock maintenance assistive system.'
Inventor(s) include Harmeet Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A livestock maintenance assistive system, comprising a cuboidal frame 1 installed within an enclosure where livestock are confined, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 monitoring number along with kind of animals present within the enclosure, the microcontroller determines an optimum temperature and humidity to be maintained within the enclosure for maintaining good health of the animals, a sensing module is assembled on the frame 1 for monitoring temperature and humidity within the enclosure, a hollow ring 3 arranged at ceiling of frame 1 and integrated with electronically controlled nozzles 4 to dispense water mist from nozzles 4 towards animals for regulating temperature and humidity to maintain proper conditions for healthy survival of animals."
