MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517092514 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Sept. 26, for 'lithium secondary battery electrode plate and lithium secondary battery comprising same.'

Inventor(s) include Kim, Sohee; Kwon, Hyejin; Kim, Jeonggil; Kim, Taegon; and Song, Min Sang.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery electrode plate and a lithium secondary battery comprising same, the lithium secondary battery electrode plate comprising: a current collector layer; and an electrode mixture layer formed on one surface or both surfaces of the current collector layer, wherein the electrode mixture layer includes: a first region formed in the direction from one edge part of the electrode mixture layer to the other edge part on the basis of the transverse direction (TD) cross-section of the electrode mixture layer; a second region that excludes the first region; and first particles and second particles, each containing an electrode active material, a conductive material and a binder, and the first particle has an amount of a binder higher than that of the second particle, or comprises a binder of 30% or greater of the total amount of the binder included in the particle in a region that is 20% or less of the length from the outermost surface of the particle to the center of the particle."
