MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517045604 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on May 12, for 'lithium secondary battery.'
Inventor(s) include Ji Su Hyeon; Lee Chul Haeng; Lee Jung Min; Baek Ga Young; and Yeom Chul Eun.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention is characterized by comprising: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and a non aqueous electrolyte wherein the positive electrode includes a positive electrode active material including a lithium transition metal oxide represented by a specific chemical formula and the non aqueous electrolyte includes a lithium salt an organic solvent and additives including a first additive and a second additive. The first additive includes a phosphate based additive containing a silyl group and the second additive includes a compound represented by a specific chemical formula."
