MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018023 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'liquid transfer device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Subhrajit Beura.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A liquid transfer device, comprising a cuboidal hollow body 101 having a side portion carved with an opening for allowing a user to insert mouth portion of a first auxiliary bottle from which liquid to be transferred, a conical-shaped member 102 is to be inserted in mouth portion of a second auxiliary body 101 in which liquid is to be transferred, a microphone 103 enables user to give voice commands for securing first bottle with body 101, a motorized iris lid 104 close for gripping mouth portion of first bottle, an imaging unit 105 detects exact location of second bottle, a laser projection unit 106 guide user in aligning inserting member 102 in mouth portion of second bottle, an L-shaped telescopically operated link 108, extend for partially cover mouth portion of first bottle via a circular plate 107 to prevent wastage due to spillage during transfer of liquid."
