MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517069411 A) filed by Furukawa Electric Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on July 21, for 'liquid petroleum gas production reactor and liquid petroleum gas production reaction device.'
Inventor(s) include Fujikawa Takashi; Iwano Yuki; Takahashi Hiroko; Bamba Yuichiro; Kawamata Yuki; Lee Yu; Hirano Junya; and Fukushima Masayuki.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This liquid petroleum gas production reactor comprises a housing part accommodating a Cu-Zn-based catalyst and a zeolite catalyst supporting a noble metal, wherein the proportion (wt1/(wt1+wt2)) of the weight of the Cu-Zn-based catalyst to the total weight of the weight (wt1) of the Cu-Zn-based catalyst and the weight (wt2) of the zeolite catalyst in an upstream region of the housing part is different from the proportion (wb1/(wb1+wb2)) of the weight of the Cu-Zn-based catalyst to the total weight of the weight (wb1) of the Cu-Zn-based catalyst and the weight (wb2) of the zeolite catalyst in a downstream region of the housing part."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 27, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/046894.
