MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011160 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'liquid outlet device for storage containers.'

Inventor(s) include Ipsita Dash.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A liquid outlet device for storage containers, comprising a cylindrical member 101 having a plurality of sharp triangular flaps 102 attached at a bottom periphery of the member 101, by means of pneumatic pushers 103 for piercing and inserting into a container, an imaging unit 104 installed on the member 101 to determine the member 101 placed on a container with the flaps 102 being in contact with surface of the container, a flexible mesh fabric 201 disposed within the member 101 for straining of liquid, a nozzle 105 provided on the member 101, connected with a pump having a conduit connected directed into the container for starting or stopping passage of liquid via the member 101, a Peltier unit 202 installed within the member 101 for changing temperature of liquid being poured and a microphone 106 provided on the member 101 for receiving an audio command from the user."
