MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517067164 A) filed by Dsm Ip Assets B. V., Maastricht, Netherlands, on July 15, for 'liquid dispersion preparation processes.'
Inventor(s) include Schlegel, Bernd; and Nowotny, Markus.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Some aspects of the disclosure relate to processes for preparing liquid dispersions, which may comprise directing a pre-dispersion with a liquid and an oily phase through one or more filtration elements (104), and/or filtering an aqueous solution of the hydrocolloids before preparation of the pre-dispersion, and pumping the pre-dispersion into a turbulence chamber (102) and ejecting a liquid dispersion from the turbulence chamber (102) with the dispersed liquid phase having an average size of 50-220 nm, where the residence time of the pre-dispersion in the turbulence chamber (102) for each of the one or more passes through the turbulence chamber (102) is less than 10-6 seconds."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 17, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/051045.
