MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617001739 A) filed by Toho Chemical Industry Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Jan. 7, for 'lignin derivative and additive for hydraulic composition containing same.'
Inventor(s) include Hataguchi, Kenta; Kobayashi, Satoshi; and Suga, Akira.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "To provide a lignin derivative that can be produced by industrially reasonable reaction conditions and can exhibit stable high fluidity by enhancing material uniformity in the initial stage of kneading of a hydraulic composition, and to provide an additive for a hydraulic composition containing the lignin derivative. [Solution] Provided is a lignin derivative which is a reaction product of a mixture containing a lignosulfonic acid-based compound, an aromatic compound, and an aldehyde compound, wherein the lignin derivative has a (poly)alkyleneoxy group with a phosphate-esterified terminal."
The patent application was internationally filed on June 14, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/021736.
