MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517047007 A) filed by Seoul Semiconductor Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on May 15, for 'light source module.'

Inventor(s) include Ban, Heejeong; Ko, Miso; and Choi, Eunmi.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A light source module according to the present invention comprises a light-emitting diode package, wherein the light-emitting diode package comprises: a substrate; a first upper electrode and a second upper electrode arranged on the top surface of the substrate; a light-emitting structure arranged on the top surface of the first upper electrode and electrically connected to the first upper electrode and the second upper electrode; a wavelength conversion unit arranged to correspond to a light-emitting region of the top surface of the light-emitting structure; a first lower electrode and a second lower electrode arranged on the bottom surface of the substrate and electrically connected to the first upper electrode and the second upper electrode respectively; and a heat dissipation pad arranged on the bottom surface of the substrate to be spaced apart from the first lower electrode and the second lower electrode."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 10, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/018071.
