MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514002492 A) filed by Kabushiki Kaisha Toyota Jidoshokki, Aichi, Japan, on Jan. 10, for 'light source device.'
Inventor(s) include Daisuke Matsuoka; and Takayuki Motoyanagi.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A light source device includes a metal substrate, a light source fixed to the substrate, and a plastic lens fixed to the substrate with a metal fastener. The lens is provided with an elongated hole through which the fastener is inserted. The elongated hole extends in a radial pattern centered on a specified positioning point defined in the lens. The elongated hole includes a width increasing portion in which a width of the elongated hole increases as a distance from the positioning point increases."
