MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013387 A) filed by Uno Minda Limited, Gurgaon, Haryana, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'light projection system for a vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Rana, Abhay Singh; Rathore, Rajiv Singh; Arya, Chirag; Vishwakarma, Bhupendra Vijay Kumar; and Bisht, Shailesh.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a light projection system (100) for a handlebar (500) of a vehicle. the light projection system (100) includes a housing (102) adapted to mount at a distal end of the handlebar (500), and a light projection unit (104) disposed in the housing (102). The light projection unit (104) includes at least one Light Emitting Diode (LED) (126) to facilitate the glowing of the light projection unit (104), and a lens assembly (128) coupled over the LEDs (126) and adapted to receive a beam of light from the LEDs (126). The lens assembly (128) includes a plurality of lenses (130) spaced apart from one another to facilitate the projection of an image on ground/surface."
