MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017531 A) filed by Bml Munjal University, Gurgaon, Haryana, on March 11, 2024, for 'light adjustment-based driving assistance device for four-wheeler vehicles.'
Inventor(s) include Hirdesh Pharasi; S. Satya Karthikeya; B. Nithish Reddy; and Tanish Kapoor.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A light adjustment-based driving assistance device for four-wheeler vehicles, comprising a pair of cuboidal frames 1 with suction cups 2 attached to the headlights of a four-wheeler vehicle, a push-button 3 crafted on frame 1, which upon pressing secures the frame 1 with headlights using a suction unit 4, present within the suction cup 2, a camera 5 mounted on frame 1 for detecting obstacles, vehicle, and road curvature, elongated members 10 with liquid lens are arranged in a grid-like pattern, tilting and adjusting to optimize the emitted light from the headlights, a motorized roller 6, wrapped with yellow-colored sheets 7, arranged with each frame 1 to enhance visibility in bad weather conditions by transforming white light into yellow light, aiming to prevent accidents and improve visibility for drivers."
