MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421005065 A) filed by Harsh Goyal, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on Jan. 25, 2024, for 'lid assembly for moulded containers with tamper evident seal and inbuilt dispensing unit.'

Inventor(s) include Harsh Goyal.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A storage container and lid assembly with a spout for storing liquid materials wherein the storage container can include a container body having a shape, which may be a circular cylindrical shape, polygonal shape, or a rounded-polygonal shape, or even a rectangular shape. The container has a body with a bottom wall, at least four sidewalls and a neck. The neck defines a wide opening with grooves on its all sides to enable fixing of the lid by pressing. The top portion / the lid has insertion groove all around for fixing permanently under pressure on four walls of the container as part of permanent sealing feature, when the lid is in sealed engagement with the container. The body also has bail-type handle for lifting the container and the container neck supports a bail-type handle, formed with an aperture through two opposite sides of the container body and fixed diagonally, for lifting said container. This bail-type handle do not extend beyond the container sidewalls."
