MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005963 A) filed by Prof. J. A. Siddiqui; Prof. Dr. Reena Singh; Mr. Pawan Kumar Singh; Prof. Dr. B. K. Sarkar; Miss Pari Nidhi Singh; and Prof. Vandana Singh, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on Jan. 30, 2024, for 'library book and book page no tracking using mobile.'
Inventor(s) include Prof. J. A. Siddiqui; Prof. Dr. Reena Singh; Mr. Pawan Kumar Singh; Prof. Dr. B. K. Sarkar; Miss Pari Nidhi Singh; and Prof. Vandana Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Our Invention "Library Book and Book Page no Tracking using Mobile" is a Research on the worth of books in smart libraries and scientific, unbiased assessments of book quality are helpful in meeting users' reading demands. Unfortunately, given the current issue of subpar system performance, it is challenging to determine the significant coefficient of the subjective and objective weight of the customized information service index of the smart library. As a result, a multimedia network-based customized information service system for the smart library is created. The data collector, data retriever, and data memory modules of the system hardware are designed in multimedia network technology. To guarantee that the system operates efficiently, the Ethernet interface is connected through three buses. The software flow is introduced based on the hardware and is separated into three layers: the UI layer, the logical business layer, and the data access layer. To finish designing the smart library's personalized information service system, the application program is created using this foundation, all operation instructions adhere to the association rules, and the voice chip is connected to the single-chip microcomputer via the SPI serial port. The experimental findings demonstrate that the developed system has a modest average absolute deviation, good comprehensive performance, and an update latency of less than 0.6 s, all of which can increase work efficiency."
