MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511132040 A) filed by Shri Ram Murti Smarak College Of Engineering Technology & Research, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 26, 2025, for 'lexilearn: system and method for ai driven gamified correction of dyslexia specific reading and writing errors.'

Inventor(s) include Ms. Shruti Gupta; Dr. Manvi Mishra; Dr. Shailesh Saxena; and Dr. Prabhakar Gupta.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an assistive learning system that integrates artificial intelligence with gamification to support individuals with dyslexia. Dyslexia-specific error patterns such as phonological substitutions, letter reversals, and sequential processing difficulties present challenges not addressed by conventional writing assistants. The disclosed system comprises a user interface for text input and literacy games, a processor executing machine learning algorithms trained to recognize dyslexia-related errors, a feedback module providing contextual corrective responses, and a gamification engine delivering points, badges, and rewards. A progress tracking module continuously updates user performance data, adjusts difficulty levels, and generates dashboards displaying achievements. The system operates in a secure, cloud-based environment enabling cross-device accessibility and real-time feedback. By combining adaptive AI correction with gamified engagement, the invention improves literacy confidence, accuracy, and long-term learning outcomes for dyslexic users."
