According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A simple, cost-effective ergonomic leg rest(100) device addresses the issue of physical strain and discomfort experienced by individuals who stand for extended periods. The primary component of the device is a four-bar link mechanism integrated into the leg rest. This mechanism connects the bars(114) with hinges (106) to ensure smooth and unrestricted movement. Additionally, a stopper (108) is positioned at the bottom to limit the leg rest's movement to a restricted angle. Straps are included in the rectangular tube to securely fix it to the street vendor's leg, providing easy wearing and removal. Moreover, padding or a cushion can be added to the top surface of the leg for enhanced comfort."
