MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024665 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'lawn maintenance assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Srishti; and Dr. Umesh Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A lawn maintenance assistive device, comprises of a body 1 configured with a handle 2 accessed by a user for acquiring a grip on the body 1 for moving the body 1 on a surface, plurality of wheels 3 arranged underneath the body 1 for moving the body 1 on the surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 installed on the body 1 for determining discoloration of grasses cultivated on the lawn, a holographic projector 5 installed on the body 1 for projected a virtual image depicted a boundary around discolored portion of the lawn, a pH sensor is integrated underneath the body 1 to determine pH of grass and soil of the portion, a multi-sectioned chamber 6 arranged on the body 1 and integrated with multiple electronically controlled nozzles 7 to dispense different reagents stored in the chamber 6."
