MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017530 A) filed by Bml Munjal University, Gurgaon, Haryana, on March 11, 2024, for 'laundry transportation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A laundry transportation device, comprising a housing 1 developed to be attached with a towing vehicle 2 and configured with multiple rods 3 provides support on ground surface, a computing unit accessed by user to install user interface from a cloud for entering input regarding laundry cleaning service, a GPS module linked with computing unit for fetching real-time user's location coordinates, a plate 7 arranged within housing 1 accessed by user for placing multiple clothes, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 8 for determining type and size of clothes, a speaker 10 for notifying user to place folded clothes inside chamber 11 arranged on housing 1, a container 13 dedicated to store a large sized clothes, a motorized sliding unit 16 arranged in container 13 for translating multiple hangers 17, and a storage unit 18 for storing multiple packets each printed with unique identification cloths."
