MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026614 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 30, 2024, for 'lather formation device for washing clothes.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A lather formation device for washing clothes, comprising an elongated frame 1 with a C-shaped motorized expandable clamp 2 positioned in contact with edges of a bucket filled with water, a touch enabled screen 3 arranged on the frame 1 enables a user to give input commands regarding type and number of clothes to be washed by the user, a laser sensor positioned on each of the clamp 2 s detects dimensions of the edges, a conical member 4 arranged with the frame 1 dispenses detergent within the bucket through an opening carved at a base portion of the member 4, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 7 mounted on the frame 1 detects level of the water in the bucket, and a flap 8 arranged with the frame 1 via a telescopically operated link 9 mixes the detergent powder with the water to obtain lather."
