MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517051404 A) filed by Huhtamaki Flexible Packaging Germany Gmbh & Co. Kg, Ronsberg, Germany, on May 28, for 'laminate, in particular for producing packaging, use of the laminate for producing a packaging, packaging produced from the laminate, and method for producing the laminate.'

The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a laminate (10), in particular for producing packaging, comprising an outer layer (15) which optionally has a design and comprising a sealing layer (50) which is arranged opposite the visible face of the outer layer (15), wherein the sealing layer (50) is preferably a low-temperature sealing layer (78), the sealing layer (50) is designed as a first blown film (70) or as the outermost layer of a first blown film (70), and a first adhesive extrusion layer (60) is arranged between the outer layer (15) and the blown film (70). The invention additionally relates to the use of such a laminate (10) and to packaging produced from such a laminate (10), in particular a tubular bag packaging, preferably a standing tubular bag packaging, and to a method for producing the laminate (10)."
