MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411011297 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 19, 2024, for 'ladder stabilization assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A ladder stabilization assistive device, comprises of a platform 1 utilize to adhere underneath rear portion of a four-wheeler vehicle to support a ladder, a camera 4 mounted on the member 2 for detecting distance between steps of the ladder, a motorized slider 7 configured between the member 2 and multiple telescopically operated bars 6 configure with plates 13 for translating the bars 6, a telescopically operated link 8 equipped with a pin 9, installed with the member 2 for inserting the pin 9 within the ground surface, a motorized hinge 10 incorporated between the rod 3 and platform 1 for tilting the member 2 along with the ladder, a weight sensor arranged on each of the plates 13 for detecting weight of the user, a speaker 11 mounted on the member 2 for notifying the user to get off from the ladder."
