MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517045516 A) filed by Okamoto Corporation, Nara, Japan, on May 12, for 'knitted fabric and attachment using said knitted fabric.'

Inventor(s) include Fukui Takao.

The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a knitted fabric of which an end portion on the knitting end side is less likely to come apart and that has less foreign body feel to the touch. A knitted fabric (100) comprises: a knitted fabric body (101) that has an opening end portion (102) at one end on the knitting end side; and a terminal processed portion (W) which includes a plurality of connecting loops (Wc) knitted along a specific course that is one of a plurality of courses positioned on the opening end portion (102) side and in which the loops adjacent to each other on the specific course are individually connected together by means of the connecting loops (Wc)."
